Rainbow Youth is a youth led project for LGBTQIA+ young people aged between 12-25, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Based in the Foyle LGBTQIA+ Centre, we engage with young people across Derry, Strabane and surrounding areas.
Rainbow Youth provides safe and affirmative spaces for LGBTQIA+ young people, that are shaped and led by its members.

What we do
We offer opportunities for young people to make friends, have fun and access support and learning through the provision of:
LGBTQIA+ affirmative peer and social support through our youth drop in spaces.
Co- cultural youth counselling support in a 1-1 capacity and group work.
A safe and secure online space to promote connection and belonging remotely across Northern Ireland.
Training and awareness through a youth-led training programme.
Opportunities for young people to collaborate on innovative peer research projects.
