The Belfast Trans Resource Centre is a community space and hub for trans, non-binary and questioning people and their friends and families in Belfast. It hosts events by several of the other trans groups listed on this website, including SAIL, GenderJam, AffirmNI and Non-Binary+ NI.

Cara-FriendNI – Visit CaraFriendNI website
Cara-Friend has been serving the LGBTQ+ community in Northern Ireland since 1974. We provide regional LGBTQ+ youth services across Northern Ireland, one-to-one support for individuals, LGBTQ+ awareness training for professionals and volunteers working in a variety of different areas, community development programmes, the LGBT Switchboard NI helpline service, and the LGBTQ+ Inclusive Schools Programme as well as a range of policy, advocacy and campaigning initiatives.

GenderJam NI supports and advocates for young transgender, non-binary, questioning and intersex people aged 25 and under in Northern Ireland. They organise regular events across Northern Ireland and can support trans young people in education, healthcare, and employment.”

HERe NI is a community organisation and registered charity based in Belfast. We are here to support lesbian and bisexual women and our families and improve the lives of L & B women across Northern Ireland. We do this in lots of different ways: through providing information; peer support; facilitating training; lobbying government and agencies on your behalf, offering a community space for meetings and much more.
Mermaids (UK Based) – Visit Mermaids website
Mermaids support transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse children and young people until their 20th birthday, as well as their families and professionals involved in their care. They provide web chat support to students up to the age of 25. Mermaids are committed to helping families navigate the challenges they may face.

Non-Binary Northern Ireland is a meet-up group open to all people who identify under the non-binary spectrum. Meet-ups hosted on 1st Sunday of the month.
