The Rainbow Project are happy to announce that in 2025 we will be running a series of LGBTQIA+ Awareness Workshops for individual sign up to allow you a chance to access our workshop at a lower cost without losing out.

This is the workshop for you!

Our LGBTQIA+ Awareness Workshops provide an interactive and engaging learning experience which will:

• Help you increase your understanding the support services available to LGBTQIA+ people in Northern Ireland.
• Teach you about identity and it’s importance, particularly in regard to sexual and gender identity.
• Provide clarity on key language and terminology in regard to LGBTQIA+ people.
• Help increase your understanding of the health and wellbeing experiences for LGBTQIA+ people.
• Increase understanding on the key barriers that impact LGBTQIA+ people.
• Help discover more about what LGBTQIA+ discrimination is, why it happens, it’s impact and how to challenge it.
• Give practical advise to become stronger allies to LGBTQIA+ friends, family, colleagues or loved ones.

Our training workshops are delivered in group settings with respect and encouragement being central to our learning experience.

Our training sessions can be booked at any time as a group booking by visiting our Training webpage or contacting us on training@rainbow-project.org.

Our hope is to allow anyone wishing to avail of our training a chance to access this without group bookings being a barrier.

These workshops will be delivered in a 2.5 hour session online via Microsoft Teams. A comfort break during the session will be included.
