Noel Walsh Praised By Irish President

Irish President Mary McAleese praised the fantastic work carried out in the field of HIV work around the world by the late Noel Walsh who died last year.
The President was addressing the 8th Nordic Conference held in Dublin last week. She said 'The loss of such a champion and fearless advocate as Noel is felt deeply by the community who's voice he made sure was heard'
Noel was a tireless HIV activist, HIV Editor of Gay Community News as well as Chairperson of The Stamp Out Stigma Campaign launched by the Irish Government.
